v0.7 maintenance note

The v0.7.0 line is a historical release. It is the last 0.x public API for the fleet-oriented framework. It is not the teaching product for Sovereign Agent 1.x.

Immutable tag

• Tag: v0.7.0
• Object at authorization: be2a41bbee202c52a40b2e87c00215827be302a0 (merge of the bounded fleet work).
• Later main commits (including beginner-path documentation) do not move this tag.

Do not retag, force-move, or reuse v0.7.0.

What maintainers may do on 0.x

• Document how to pin sovereign-agent<1.
• Fix security issues on a 0.x maintenance branch if one is explicitly opened.
• Leave examples, chapters, and fleet code as a readable historical tree.

What maintainers must not do on 0.x

• Extend v0.7 as the executable textbook or 1.x curriculum.
• Add Cursor as a v0.7 public provider in order to “catch up” with 1.x.
• Treat v0.7 run_task / ZeoCore / fleet APIs as the 1.0 compatibility surface.

New educational work happens on v1-educational under ruling 2026-08-25 educational reset.
